Homophobia is gay

Before you read this, keep in mind that I AM NOT gay, I am simply disgusted by the approach that some societies have taken with the "polemic" issue.

Here is a wonderful idea...

If you dont like the things homosexuals do (including but not limited to gay sex), DONT HAVE GAY SEX!!! You'd be amazed how easy it is! The greatest thing about tolerance is the fact that you do not have to respect something to be able to tolerate it. And no... i am not a closet homosexual trying to defend my fellow queer, I am simply trying to make a statement on behalf of the oppressed.

I am almost 21 years old, and so far NO ONE has been able to provide me with ONE single secular reason to criminalize gay marriage. By marriage, I of course mean CIVIL marriage.

Really... besides it being weird (i dont really think it is), homosexuality its not detrimental to one's health, and it certainly does not affect any third party any more than heterosexuality. Some may say that allowing gays to get married would affect the economy (here in the US at least) because married couples get tax breaks.

First of all, thats not an argument against gay marriage, thats an argument against marriage in general. Using that same logic, we should ban ALL marriages, gay and straight, that way nobody gets tax exemptions.

This argument against homosexuality is a good argument, mostly because americans reject EVERYTHING that is unnatural. I have never seen an american doing anything unnatural! Americans reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, technology and even the internet. We (americans... I am not american fuck that) reject unnatural things, gay marriage is unnatural so why bother? And besides, why would anybody get married if they are not going to have kids? I mean... we never let infertile couples marry why let them queers!?

There is a scientific debate going on right now about the issue. The whole "nature-nurture" debacle.

Whatever the answer is... WHO CARES?! If I chose vaginas over penises of the other way around why would anybody care? And why would anybody care to the extent to try to make it illegal??? If it wont affect you in any way... why would you care? Whatever people do with other people sexually is their business.

If you disagree with me on this issue... please... provide ONE secular reason (religious reasons dont really matter in the real world) why gay marriage should be illegal.

Well, not to long ago I was exactly where you are right now. I had a choice to make: I could either continue to believe in something for which I had no evidence and live my life believing things based on faith alone, or I start searching for the truth. I decided I really care about my beliefs and whether or not my beliefs are founded on facts and rational inquiry. I wont tell you to abandon your faith, it doesnt matter what I say to you, abandoning faith requires several steps and they have to be taken by one person only, they can only be taken by you. But trust me, you have nothing to be afraid of, the day I abandoned faith things started to become clearer and my world view improved. I will talk about that later though. First of all, I will never tell you that god doesnt exist because I simply do NOT know that, and such a statement would require tons of faith. What I can tell you is that the god depicted in the bible does not exist. I know this for a fact, I am currently reading the bible and there are many claims there that can be put to the test, and I have. Before we continue I think it is important for me to define atheism. Atheism IS NOT the belief that there is no god, like a said before, such position would require faith, atheism is the rejection of all the god claims. Atheism is simply the lack of belief, there is a BIG difference between saying "I dont believe that god exists" and saying "I believe that god doesnt exist". Atheism is the most rational approach to the god question, for many reasons. First of all, since we have no evidence that a god exists, and the possibility of a god existing is not enough to justify anything (in fact it is POSSIBLE that we were pooped by a universe making machine... its possible) we justify our beliefs with things that are actually probable. An all knowing, all powerful, loving deity is EXTREMELY unlikely, yes.. its possible for such a thing to exist, but its not likely enough to justify the belief and worship of a deity. But lets pretend for a second that deities are actually likely to exist; how do you know which god? Ho do you know which religion god it right? Keep asking yourself these questions, you will realize that your religion and your faith are nothing more than an accident of birth! You believe in the things that your parents believe in, and they believe in the things that their parents believe in too. Its not always true though, your grandparents may be christian and your parents may be catholic, but you never see muslim parents giving birth to christian christian children. We believe in the things that our parents believe in, evolution has programed us to learn from authority figures, the human being is extremely weak and helpless when he is young we need to learn things quickly, we dont have time to do trial and error with things like cliffs and electric sockets. Ask yourself, really think about this; Why do you believe in the specific religion that you believe in? Do you know the one thing that ALL religions have in common? Neither of em have ANY evidence to support their claims, its all based on faith. They could be right! But that doesnt mean you should believe. Since all major religions stand on pretty much the same evidentiary grounds... why not worship all gods? Why not pray three times a day every day facing mecca? Why not grow your facial hair, wear a turban, go to church on sundays, stay home and do nothing all day on saturdays, wear some funny underwear, sell all your belongings, meditate for two hours every day, reject technology etc etc JUST TO BE SURE? As far as we know, this life is the only life we have! Make sure you make the best of it, and if god exists and he really is a loving god... I really doubt he will punish you for being unable to believe in him. According to some believers he has revealed himself to millions! Why not you?!? You either believe or you disbelieve... You cannot for yourself to believe if you dont and you cannot force yourself to disbelieve in you do.. This is a lot to digest lol I will stop here so you can write back and tell me what you think. My mission

My notes are not anti-christian, they are anti-theist. What I say about the bible and the people who believe it applies to jews, muslims, scientologists, mormons, pinkunicornists, Pastafarians, and conspiracy theorists. Why? because all of those people use the EXACT same rationale to justify ALL their claims. Notice how I ALWAYS use the same label (theist) for all religions, unless it applies to a specific religion.

I dont give a damn, it doesnt matter what I say about theists, what they do to me and what they think about me is way worse, INFINITELY worse. I never single out anybody in particular I do generalize because in THIS CASE it is appropriate. Even if some theists out there dont believe that atheists deserve to burn in hell forever, the tenets and the doctrine of ALL religions are very explicit. Any theist out there that believes that I do not deserve to burn in hell just because god sucks at proving himself is an ANOMALY.

If you are a christian and you DO NOT agree with the overall message of the theist of the religion you claim to be a part of CHANGE YOUR LABEL! You are not a christian, what this guy wrote is not made up, it is not out there... What this guy wrote is an accurate description of what christianity represents. Dont believe me... read the bible, see for yourself.

If you are a christian, and you do not believe that I deserve to burn in hell eternaly CHANGE YOUR LABEL, guess what! You do not fall under the category of most religious labels out there.

I never said theists are generally stupid, they are REALLY STUPID when it comes to supernatural claims. Albert einstein was smarter than me, a lot smarter than me pretty much on every single possible side of any spectrum. HOWEVER, I can say that I am smarter than him when it comes to supernatural claims. Einstein was deist, which has to be as close as you can get to atheism.

The most amazing and the most intellegent and bright people out there, the ones making a difference and the ones making our societies great are scientists. I am not saying your christian friends are stupid, there are some theists out there who are very damn smart, but guess what! They know that religions and governments should stay away from each other.

Believe whatever the hell you want people, just keep it behind closed doors, do not legislate based on your bronze aged myths. Realize that you do not have the right to force your moral "standards" down anybody's throat.

If you ever find conclusive evidence proving that god does in fact exist we should legislate based on the teachings on the bible.

I know that probably will never happen so I am not holding my breath...

It does take a certain degree of stupidity to believe in something for which there is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE, not only that... there are tons of contradicting evidence.

Whoever believes in santa claus just because it is still POSSIBLE that he may in fact exist is still a moron.

My plan for world peace

As far as I am concerned, the phelps family is the closest thing the world has produced to a true christian family. The know the bible, the live by it, they believe it to be true and they act according to its laws. 

God, according to his word, really hates homosexuals (and women) (oh and atheists) (and pretty much anyone who does not believe in him) and he likes to punish countries that support gay rights. I find this to be quite odd since god made homosexuals that way, he must have known gays would behave that way. But thats besides the point...

My plan for world peace and a world free of natural disasters is to keep homosexuals evenly distributed around the world to protect every major city with their "gay shield".

Let me explain...

There is only x amount of water in the world, god can only use this amount to produce natural disasters such as droughts, inundations, floods, etc. Also, god cannot use all the plate tectonics in the world at the same time. So no matter what happens, this plan will prove SOMETHING. If we evenly distribute gays all over the world, god will be forced to do one of three things:

A: Realize he got cornered and his hands were tied. He cannot produce more water than already exists or play with all the plate tectonics at the same time, if he did he would be violating our free will by performing miracles for everyone to see, he needs our belief to be based on faith alone. He cannot just come out and prove his existence! So he does nothing, he wont punish innocent people just because some people like it up the ass. We prove god exists and he is a nice god because all of a sudden bad things stop happening.

B: He says FUCK IT and decides to change the laws of the universe, spontaneously create more water to affect as many gays as possible, and he produces earthquakes all over the place. His existence becomes evident... we prove he exists but he turns out to be a dick...

C: Nothing changes... natural disasters occur randomly in spite of the might gay shield. Homosexuals, heterosexuals transexuals and atheists die at a proportionate equivalent rate (or at least at the same rate they died at before) and natural disasters seem to have no preference. We prove god doesnt exist (or at least he created us and retired) and he doesnt really hate homosexuals and atheists. We recycle bibles and use them as toilet paper (i have one of my bibles in the bathroom just in case i ever run out) or we make comic books with them. Hell... why not just print playboys on them?

What do you think will happen if we make a gay shield around the globe?
